A Tefal raclette grill is chosen on what it does besides melting cheese in the pans: a cooking stone for the raclette and stone grill combos, a grill plate for cured meats and steak, a plancha, pancakes or even fondue. Tefal is also the brand with the most models in our raclette machine selection, with five references out of sixteen. On 07/10/2026 I checked the nine models available on Amazon France, from 2 to 10 guests and from 400 to 1,450 W, then cross-checked their specifications against the tefal.fr pages where they exist. Each one has its drawback spelled out.

Watch the product names, which Tefal reuses. "Gourmet" means a 10-pan model on Amazon (RE458812) and an 8-pan model with extra-deep pans on tefal.fr (RE610D12), which was not on Amazon when we checked. "Colormania" covers the RE310401 sold on Amazon and a 945 W Eco version, RE31E810, on tefal.fr. Always check the reference before you order.
Our reviews of Tefal raclette grills
Our take on the range: Tefal raclette grills stand out for the wattage of their large models (1,350 to 1,450 W) and a 15-year repairability pledge, less for the clarity of their product pages, since six of the nine models have no page on tefal.fr. These reviews are based on the product pages, with no hands-on test, and the prices quoted were checked on Amazon France on 07/10/2026.
Tefal raclette and stone grill: PR457B12 or PR620D12?
The drawback of the Raclette & Pierrade PR457B12 first: Tefal publishes no page for it, and Amazon lists only its pans as dishwasher safe. Otherwise, it offers 10 pans, a natural lava stone and 1,350 W for 69.99 euros, the most equipment for the money in the range. The PR620D12 (Gourmet Pierrade) costs 109.99 euros for eight and has no Thermo-Spot indicator according to Tefal; in return, its official page lists pans 50% deeper for twice as much cheese, a power light, an on/off switch and manufacturing in Haute-Savoie. On both, the stone is washed by hand.
Tefal 8-person raclette: Food & Co, RE310401 or RE320812?
The Food & Co RE650J10 has no stone, and neither Tefal nor Amazon clearly confirm more than the plate as dishwasher safe. Yet it is the most complete 8-person Tefal raclette: 1,450 W, 8 standard pans and 4 XL pans twice the size, a removable grill and plancha plate, and outdoor use allowed according to Tefal, for 84.99 euros. The RE310401 (Colormania) does raclette, grill and pancakes for 54.00 euros, but with 1,050 W for 8 pans and a repairability pledge of only 10 years on its Amazon page. The Store'inn RE320812 (69.99 euros) has the same 1,050 W; its strength is the storage of accessories under the base, its drawback an Amazon page that contradicts itself on whether it has a stone or a grill.
Tefal raclette grill and plancha for 10: Inox & Design or RE458812?
Neither has a Tefal page. The Inox & Design RE458NF0 lists no dishwasher-safe part, but it comes with 10 pans, a spatula per guest, a grill and plancha plate and the Thermo-Spot indicator for 89.99 euros. The RE458812, sold under the Gourmet name, has the same 1,350 W and the Thermo-Spot, with no clearly described plancha, for 80.98 euros, and its seller was not shown when we checked. With 9 euros between them, the Inox & Design is the more consistent choice.
Cheese'n'co, the multi-function raclette that also does fondue
The Cheese'n'co RE12C812 stops at 6 guests with 850 W, and only 2 were left on Amazon when we checked. Its Tefal page makes it the brand's most versatile model: raclette, fondue with a pot and 6 forks, tartiflette, boxed cheese such as Mont d'Or, pancakes or plancha, with Thermo-Spot and a recipe book. Pans, fondue pot, plate and glass lid are dishwasher safe according to Tefal. It costs 82.00 euros.
Tefal raclette for 2: the Plug & Share Grill
The Plug & Share Grill YY5249FB has only 400 W and 2 pans per unit: to host, you have to buy more units, linked through the built-in socket. It is the cheapest Tefal raclette for two, at 29.99 euros, compact and light (1.1 kg according to Amazon), with a removable grill plate that keeps potatoes warm according to Amazon. Tefal only publishes a page for the very similar RE230812, which allows up to 10 guests by linking 5 units and, for its part, lists no dishwasher-safe part.

Tefal or Lagrange: which electric raclette grill to choose?
Tefal costs less for the same equipment, while Lagrange makes its Pierre Élégance and Element stone models in France. Based on our checks on 07/10/2026, for eight with a stone, Tefal's PR620D12 (1,350 W, 109.99 euros) is more powerful than the Lagrange Pierre Élégance (1,100 W, 132.29 euros). The Lagrange Element 179601 combines stone, grill and pancakes on 1,200 W for 104.49 euros, while the Food & Co offers grill and plancha on 1,450 W for 84.99 euros. Lagrange keeps the edge if you want a stone with stated dimensions (37.5 x 23.5 cm on the Pierre Élégance), which Tefal does not give. At Tefal, French manufacturing is stated by the maker for the Food & Co and the PR620D12, and by Amazon for most other models.

If it is the traditional wheel raclette, Savoie style, that tempts you, neither Tefal nor Lagrange sells one in our selection: our traditional raclette grill page compares half-wheel and quarter-wheel melters.
How to choose your Tefal raclette grill
A Tefal raclette grill comes down to four criteria: the number of guests, the top plate, how fast it heats up and the cleaning.
Number of guests: 2, 6, 8 or 10
Count one pan per guest. For a meal for two, the Plug & Share is enough and grows unit by unit. For a family, the 8-person models (RE310401, RE320812, Food & Co, PR620D12) are the core of the range. Beyond that, three Tefal grills go up to 10 pans: PR457B12, Inox & Design and RE458812.
Stone, grill or plancha: the top plate
A natural stone cooks meat without added fat but is washed by hand. A grill plate sears meat, a flat plancha takes vegetables, eggs or prawns; at Tefal, both are non-stick. For pancakes, three models have a dedicated function: RE310401, RE320812 (mini pancakes) and Cheese'n'co.
Heating up fast: watts and the Thermo-Spot indicator
Aim for at least 1,050 W for 8 pans and 1,350 W for 10, which the whole Tefal range on sale meets. The Thermo-Spot, listed by Tefal or the seller on the Food & Co, Cheese'n'co, Inox & Design, RE320812, RE310401 and RE458812, changes colour when the plate is hot enough to start cooking.
Coating, cleaning and spare parts
Non-stick pans are dishwasher safe on most models; check the plate on the product page. Most of the Tefal grills we checked have a detachable cord, the RE320812 and PR620D12 store their accessories underneath, and the brand pledges 15 years of repairability at a fair price, with a network of 6,200 repairers, on most references. Amazon also lists spare parts available for 15 years on several of them.
How we compared
On 07/10/2026 I searched Amazon France for every Tefal raclette grill on offer, sixteen references in all, and kept the nine that had an in-stock offer sold and shipped by Amazon or, for the RE458812, in stock with no seller shown. For each one, I recorded the price, availability and seller, then cross-checked guests, watts, functions and cleaning against the tefal.fr page: only the PR620D12, the Food & Co and the Cheese'n'co have one. For the other six, I only kept values on which the Amazon title, table and description agree; the rest is marked "n.c." (not communicated). None of these grills has been tested hands-on: the score out of 5 is an editor's review based on watts per guest, functions, cleaning and price, detailed on our method page. To compare Tefal with other brands, our best raclette grill comparison follows the same method.
The Tefal models we left out
Seven Tefal raclette grills found on Amazon were left out. The Accessimo RE151512 was only offered by a third-party seller, at a higher price than most 8-person models in the range, shipped within 7 to 8 days, for 700 W and 6 guests according to that seller. Six others showed no offer on 07/10/2026: the Colormania Eco RE31E8, the Neo Deco 6 RE12A4, the Plug & Share RE2308, the Pierrade 3-in-1 RE45A812, the Gourmet with 8 deep pans and an 850 W red Colormania. Finally, the Célébration RE1513F0 and the RichesMonts RE12R810, two 850 W models for six sold on tefal.fr, did not appear on Amazon.
Frequently asked questions
What does the Thermo-Spot indicator on Tefal raclette grills do?
The Thermo-Spot is a mark on the plate that changes colour once the grill has reached the right temperature to start cooking. Tefal lists it on the Food & Co and the Cheese'n'co, the Amazon pages on the Inox & Design, RE320812, RE310401 and RE458812. The PR620D12, with its natural stone, does not have one according to its Tefal page.
Which Tefal 8-person raclette grill should you choose?
For eight, the Food & Co has the most watts (1,450 W) and adds 4 XL pans. On a tight budget, the RE310401 does raclette, grill and pancakes for much less. To grill on stone, the PR457B12 even seats 10. Their prices are in the range table at the top of the page.
Where are Tefal raclette grills made?
Tefal states manufacturing in Haute-Savoie for the PR620D12 and RE610D12, and in France for the Food & Co. Amazon pages give France as the country of origin for most other models, except the Plug & Share Grill, made in China according to Amazon.
Are Tefal raclette pans dishwasher safe?
Yes on most models: the pans of the PR620D12 and Cheese'n'co according to Tefal, and of the PR457B12, RE310401 and RE320812 according to Amazon. A natural stone, on the other hand, is always washed by hand once cool. On the Inox & Design and RE458812, no part is listed as dishwasher safe.
Can you add to your Tefal raclette set?
Yes: Tefal's accessory shop sells triangular pans in pairs (XA400102), square pans in pairs (XA400202), extra-deep pans in pairs (XA521000) and a set of 6 spatulas. Check compatibility with your grill before ordering.
